As mentioned in the preceeding post, I have decided to partake in The Photo Argus 2017 Photography Challenge. Here is my second post for this challenge. Here is a photo of a hydrangea bloom developing its colour.
These are interesting flowers – they start off with small green petals, and the colour develops as the flower opens out.
This particular plant produces purple flowers (as you can see), but another in a different part of the garden taken from the same cutting, produces blue flowers. I think it has something to do with the acidity of the soil.
I am pleased with the depth of field in this shot, and the colour of the background foliage
I have had a busy few days, with my summer holidays almost over, so is almost time for my 3rd post for this series!
