I recently had a weekend away in a provincial town of New Zealand – Napier.
In 1931, Napier suffered a catastrophic earthquake, and was virtually razed to the ground. Afterwards, the rebuild created a town with a concentration of Art Deco architecture unrivalled anywhere in the world.
One of the most photographed attractions of Napier is the statue “Pania of the Reef“. Here’s my effort.
Napier is in New Zealand’s Hawke’s Bay, an area that produces some very fine wines. I will featuree some of these wines over the coming weeks.
Live, laugh, Love!
