Tree carving 3

Being a very proud dad seeing my elder son graduate with his B.A., after the ceremony we stopped off at a local park where an old tree that had to be taken down was transformed into a piece of art.

This artwork was sponsored by Stihl (the chainsaw people) and a local DIY company. These are a few of the shots I took. The more you look, the more you may be able to pick things out in the intricate carving.

What features can you see?

  1. Congratulations to your son. I have a BA from Auckland; and my son has just announced he’s planning to do a BA/BCom there next year. 🙂

  2. Congratulations to your eldest. I’m still looking at the photo. I like to marvel at the artistic abilities of others.

  3. Holy smokes…that is some impressive work with a chain saw. We figure we’re good with one if we don’t drop the tree on ourselves.
