The last week’s commutes were full of excitement – we were experiencing high winds so the seas were rough, we pitched, rolled and yawed, sometimes all at the same time. This was fun – a bit like a carnival ride.
This morning the harbour was fogbound, and the ferry was a little delayed. There was evidence of the storm we’d had. I saw one boat had sunk (just the top half of the mast was showing),’and seaweed and detritus floating on the surface.
Then came the announcement – a pod of dolphins to starboard. Much squee from the (younger) passengers. And then another pod off the port bow – Ohh the squees of delight.
A wonderful (late) start to the day. Photos later.
Live, laugh, love!
