Winter Soup

With the onset of Winter, it’s soup time!

I got out the pressure cooker, chopped onions, potato, butternut pumpkin, red kumara, golden kumara, celery, bacon, chorizo sausage, added minced garlic, chicken and vegetable stock, green beans, italian herbs, tomato paste. Cooked in the pressure cooker for 6 minutes, and about 20 minutes to reduce pressure, and Hey Presto!

Almost Ministrone

Almost Ministrone

Seems I forgot the pasta! Oh well, I chucked some in, and tomorrow, it will be ready for dinner!

What’s your favourite soup?

  1. That looks good. I have a favorite – Tortilla Soup. Maybe I’ll make a post of it. Does it get very cold in the wintertime for you?
