The Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is also called the Parson Bird, because of the 2 white feathers on it’s throat. It also has 2 voice boxes, enabling it to produce a wide variety of sounds, and it is considered an exceptional songbird (see my previous post for a video of it “chatting” rather than singing.
