A little Puccini (and a bit of Pachelbel)

Today I have been driving around playing the Cincinnati Pops playing Puccini – an album that made me fall in love with this all over again.

Without the singing, you can concentrate on the music, and this version is so expressive, and is an absolutely stirring listen. If you get the chance, have a listen to the whole album, maybe relaxing by candlelight, sharing a glass of wine with someone you love (or like a lot).

Here’s one of the tracks – from Madame Butterfly

And here is another beautiful piece, Canon in D Major by Pachelbel, by the Boston Pops

It never quite sounds like this when I play it on the piano!

Live, laugh, Love! (the music!)
