Forgotten Flowers

My dear wife appreciated the flower photos of my last post – however she did remind me of her “secret flowers”.

As we come into the height of summer, we are lucky that we will soon be going out to harvest fresh courgettes (zucchini) from our garden. When the plants are in full production, you can almost watch the vegetables growing (hmmm, thoughts of a timelapse?). We dine on fresh courgette fritters or courgette bake. One “treat” I would like to try this year is stuffed zucchini flowers. Anyway, here are the photos

Anyway, here’s a link to some recipes for stuffed courgette flowers, courtesy of River Cottage.

If anyone is interested, I’ll post the recipes for the bake and the fritters.
